Lead Intelligence: Every Lead Scored, Explained, and Prioritized

Every lead that arrives through a Digenio form is automatically scored on five dimensions — Quality, Fit, Intent, Engagement, Urgency — and lands in your CRM with a transparent score, a band, and a recommended action. No manual rating. No gut feeling. No black box.

The old way

Someone Opens the Lead. Gives It Four Stars. Moves On.

Manual lead rating is an opinion with a deadline. And the "AI score" alternatives are boxes — a number with no why, that your sales team learns to ignore.

Star ratings are moods, not measurements

Two salespeople rate the same lead differently on the same day. Nothing is recorded about why — so nothing improves, and every handover starts the rating from zero again.

Black-box scores nobody defends

When a score arrives without evidence, it gets one of two reactions: blind obedience or total ignore. Neither qualifies a lead. A score is only worth something if it shows its work.

Your best lead cooled in the queue

Without prioritization, leads are worked in arrival order. The ready-to-buy contact waits behind three window-shoppers — and answers a competitor first. Speed-to-lead is the whole game.

What you can do

Automatic Lead Scoring, With the Receipts

A deterministic + AI engine evaluates about 35 concrete signals per lead, shows its work signal by signal, and tells your sales team what to do next.

Every form lead scored, automatically

No manual rating step, no separate tool to feed. The moment a lead submits a Digenio form, the engine evaluates it — and the score is waiting where the lead is.

Automatic

A five-dimension model, not one number

Quality, Fit, Intent, Engagement, Urgency — each with its own weight, its own signals, and its own score. A composite for decisions, five axes for understanding.

Model

Transparent, signal-level breakdown

Every point is traceable to a signal with evidence. AI-scored signals carry a verbatim quote from the lead's message — and a citation that can't be validated is rejected, not stored.

Transparency

Bands with recommended actions

Hot, Qualified, Nurture, Cold — each band arrives with what to do: "follow up now", "this week", "add to sequence". Disqualified is reserved for actual junk: the gates decided, and the reason is on the card.

Prioritization

Band distribution in dashboards & CRM

The score appears on the lead profile, as a band chip in every lead table, in funnel and dashboard views by band — and rides along with the lead in CRM dispatch. One truth, everywhere.

Everywhere

B2C mode & multilingual by design

Sell to consumers? A B2C overlay recalibrates the model — free email domains stop counting against Quality, actions re-label to "Book a consultation". The engine detects the lead's language, judges in it, and cites it literally.

Under the hood

From Submission to Action, Four Steps

Scoring never runs on the visitor's request — the page stays fast. The submission is queued and evaluated by the scoring worker.

1

Capture

A visitor submits a Digenio form. Fields, message, UTM tags and tracking cookie ID are stored and queued for scoring. One unified capture path for every form.

2

Gates first

Before any scoring: invalid or disposable email, honeypot traps, spam patterns, empty payloads. A gate hit means Disqualified immediately — with the reason recorded. Junk never enters the model.

3

Five-axis evaluation

Every signal returns exactly one state: hit, miss, or unavailable. Each axis is renormalized over available points — a lead is never punished for missing data. Penalties hit the numerator only.

4

Composite, band, action

Weighted composite on a 0–100 scale, a confidence measure of how much of the model actually ran, then a band with a recommended action — on the scoring card, in every table, in your CRM.

Honest phasing: scoring runs in two passes. Phase 1 (P1, provisional) scores everything computable at submission time — Quality, Urgency, commercial language, Fit if your ICP is configured. Final enriches Intent and Engagement once full tracking history lands. The card carries a P1/Final badge, so nobody mistakes a provisional score for a final one.

Leads inbox in Digenio AI v2: lead cards with star rating, Qualified or Disqualified status, score and recommended action
1

An inbox that triages itself

Every lead lands as a card: star rating, status — Qualified · 59, Cold · 54, Disqualified · 6 — and the recommended next action spelled out in plain words. “Reply within 48 hours.” “Too low — manual check.” “Automatic nurturing.” Source, engagement, pages viewed and recency sit on the same card, so nobody opens a spreadsheet before opening a conversation.

  • A recommended action on every card — the model says what to do, not just what to think
  • Qualified, Cold and Disqualified states carry the score that produced them
  • Source, session time, actions and pages viewed — one glance, one card
Fit score card in Digenio AI v2: 60/100 gauge with signal breakdown including role match plus 15
2

Fit — is this your kind of customer?

The heaviest-weighted axis (30%) matches the lead against your ICP: role, industry, company size, country, semantic alignment. Role match earned +15 here; the unavailable signals are marked n/d and excluded from the denominator instead of counted as zero — missing data never sinks a lead. 60 out of the 15/25 points actually available, renormalised and shown.

  • 30% of the final score — who they are, not just what they did
  • Every sub-signal visible: match, miss or unavailable
  • Partial data is scored fairly — the denominator shrinks for n/d
Intent score card in Digenio AI v2: 14/100 gauge with signals including quiz page viewed plus 10 and maturation plus 5
3

Intent — acting like a buyer

The other 30% axis reads behaviour that money is near: pricing pages viewed, demo and contact pages, quiz completion, file downloads, paid-campaign entry, seller language, maturation over time. This lead viewed the quiz page (+10) and matured (+5) — researching, not yet ready. That reads as nurture, not junk.

  • Buying signals, not demographic guesses
  • Commercial and seller language parsed from the message itself
  • Maturation rewards leads who come back — timing counts
Read the evidence
Quality score card in Digenio AI v2: 65/100 gauge with signals valid email plus 15, business domain plus 15, full name plus 15
4

Quality — is the lead real?

Data hygiene as a scored axis (15%): valid email +15, business domain +15, full name +15, valid phone +10, structured data, message substance, field coverage. This is what separates “a lead” from “a string of characters” — 65/100 here means a real person with thin data. While data is incomplete the card is flagged STIMATO (estimated) — no false certainty.

  • Disposable emails and junk die at the gates — Quality scores what survives
  • Every field checked signal by signal, points printed on the card
  • Estimated badge shown until the data is complete
Engagement score card in Digenio AI v2: 77/100 gauge with tiered ladders for engaged time, pages viewed and scroll depth
5

Engagement — researched you hard

Tiered ladders, fully visible: engaged time (1m → 8 · 3m → 16 · 5m → 22), pages viewed (3+ → 10 · 5+ → 18 · 8+ → 25), scroll depth (75% → 8 · 90% → 15), multi-session, form care. You don’t just get the points earned — you see the tier the lead almost hit. 77/100: this person read the site, came back, and cared about the form.

  • Every ladder rung printed — how close they came to the next tier
  • Multi-session and form-care captured from Smart Track events
  • Sales context, not just a number: what they actually did
Urgency score card in Digenio AI v2: 0/100 gauge with callback request, deadline stated, quote request and timeline signals
6

Urgency — needs it soon

The smallest weight (10%), the sharpest signal: callback requests, quote requests, stated deadlines, timelines mentioned, exploratory tone. This lead scores 0/100 — no urgency at all — and that is exactly the point: a zero here correctly means “queue them behind the ones with deadlines.”

  • Callback and quote requests score hardest
  • Exploratory tone detected separately — nurture, don’t chase
  • Kept at 10% so urgency never drowns out substance
Why this score card in Digenio AI v2: weighted formula, Cold band, held back by and helped by axes, full axis-by-axis breakdown
7

Why this score — no black box

The composite is printed as arithmetic, not mystery: (65 × 0.15) + (60 × 0.3) + (14 × 0.3) + (77 × 0.15) + (0 × 0.1) = 43/100 — Cold band, 100% of the model measured. Then the verdict in plain words: held back by Intent and Urgency, helped by Quality, Fit and Engagement. Every axis expands to the exact points earned and the signals still missing, and while any axis is only partly measurable the badge says PROVISIONAL.

  • The formula sits on the card — the whole team reads the same math
  • Held-back / helped-by summary — what moved the number, one line each
  • The recommended action follows from the evidence: Contact lead — nurture

Visit summary in Digenio AI v2: 673 historical page views, 258 return visits, first visit and last visit dates

Three months of behaviour in four numbers

Open any lead and the lifetime summary comes first: 673 historical page views, 258 return visits, first visit 26/06/2026, last visit 02/10/2026. Before you write one word of outreach, you know whether this is a drive-by or a long-term researcher.

  • Lifetime view — every visit, not just the converting session
  • Return-visit count separates researchers from bouncers
  • First-to-last span places them in their buying timeline
Lead web activity in Digenio AI v2: 259 visits, 673 page views, 6259 events with event-by-event clickstream timeline and lead conversion flag
9

Every click, in order

259 visits, 673 page views, 6,259 events — and each visit expands into a timestamped event stream: navigation start, page view, click, engagement ping, page exit. The visit that actually produced the lead is flagged “Lead conversion”, so you can replay the exact session that converted — event by event, back to the first touch.

  • The converting visit is explicitly flagged
  • Full clickstream per visit — not an aggregate chart
  • Event-level history back to the first touch
Lead enrichment in Digenio AI v2: matched company, role and LinkedIn profiles for the lead
10

Who’s behind the email

Lead Enrichment attaches the context: company, role, industry signal, matching LinkedIn profiles. “Project Management Consultancy — Automation & AI” stops being an email address and becomes a person you can talk to on their terms.

  • Company and role matched from public sources
  • LinkedIn profile candidates surfaced automatically
  • Enrichment feeds the Fit axis — context compounds
Website info card in Digenio AI v2: the lead company site title, description and home page messaging
11

What their website says about them

The prospect’s own homepage messaging, captured and summarised: title, description, positioning lines. When your first call opens with their words instead of yours, the conversation starts halfway.

  • Title, description and home messaging extracted per lead
  • A talk-track ready before the call
  • Pairs with enrichment for full first-call context

FAQ

Questions, Answered

No. Signals that depend on tracking become n/d (not determinable) — the points are excluded from the denominator, not scored as zero. The axis renormalizes over what was actually measurable, and the confidence measure shows how much of the model ran. A lead is never punished for missing data.
It's the opposite of a black box. Every point is traceable to a signal with evidence on the scoring card: hits, misses, unavailable states and penalties are all listed, tier ladders show what the lead almost achieved, and AI-scored signals carry a verbatim quote from the lead's own message. A citation that can't be validated is rejected, not stored.
Gates run before any scoring: invalid or disposable email, honeypot traps, spam patterns and empty payloads. A gate hit means Disqualified immediately, with the reason recorded — and the full audit trail is still kept. Junk never enters the model and never reaches your sales team. (Spam filtering also starts earlier, at the form layer — see Form Intelligence.)
Both. During onboarding you choose who you sell to — businesses or consumers. B2C tenants get a consumer-calibrated overlay: free email domains stop counting against Quality, B2B commercial-intent signals go n/d instead of structurally zeroing, urgency lexicons learn appointment language, and actions re-label to "Book a consultation" / "Call back today". A perfect consumer lead scores like one.
The engine is multilingual by design: it detects the lead's language, judges in it, and quotes it literally — every AI-scored signal carries a verbatim citation. Output is always normalized (a deadline becomes an ISO date, a budget becomes an amount band), whatever the input language. Lexicon fallbacks in English and Italian at launch.
Yes — that's the point. The legacy manual star rating stays available as a compatibility field during the transition, but every new lead is scored automatically and consistently. Same lead, same signals, same score — regardless of who's on shift.
Scoring runs in two passes. P1 (provisional) scores everything computable at submission time — Quality, Urgency, commercial language, and Fit if your ICP is configured. Final enriches the score with full tracking history — Intent and Engagement — once Smart Track data lands. The card always shows which phase it's in, so nobody acts on a provisional score thinking it's final.
The Fit axis renders n/d with a "Complete your ICP profile" prompt — it doesn't drag the composite down. The score renormalizes over the axes that did run, and completing your ICP profile during onboarding unlocks Fit's full 30% weight.
